We will be hosting a reception on Friday, October 17 at 5:00 pm to be followed by a public lecture Dr. Kate Scholberg, the Arts and Sciences Distinguished Professor of Physics at Duke University and a member of the National Academy of Sciences. The event is titled the "Frontiers of Cosmology Lecture: How to see a star explode from underground." We would be honored if you are able to join us. The reception and lecture will be held on the UCR campus in the University Theatre. Free parking is available in Parking Lot 6 Blue.
