Physics & Astronomy community outreach
The Physics & Astronomy department at UC Riverside has a long tradition of providing educational opportunities through outreach to the local and broader community. From K-12 classroom outreach, international masterclasses in Particle Physics, summer academies & workshops for local High School physics teachers, to telescope viewings and innovative outreach (for instance, read the "Vibrating Universe" - Making astronomy accessible to the deaf), we provide a wide variety of learning and engagement opportunities for all ages.
